Weekend Golf Boot Camps
We have had great success with our Weekend Golf Boot Camps. These intense weekends of instruction, on the course, around the green, and on the range, are a fantastic way to learn golf in a weekend! Come join us for the most fabulous weekend golf school in the Tampa Bay Area! If you are visiting sunny Florida for a weekend and want to improve your golf, or are a “local”, looking for a great golf school experience, give us a call!
Because we have been teaching golf for many years, we understand what it takes to put on a successful, fun, learning intensive, but not totally exhausting, weekend of golf instruction. These boot camps are perfect for everyone.
The teacher to student ratio is 1 to 4. You will get individual attention throughout the weekend. Through many years of teaching, we have come up with the fantastic schedule that is our Weekend Boot Camp.
On Saturday, we go through short game techniques, full swing fundamentals, and video your swing. You will receive a color pictureof your swing to take home. You will also receive a notebook, so that we can write individual, personalized notes about your golf swing.
On Sunday, we will warm up on the range, and then take it to the golf course for 3 hours of personalized instruction by your PGA Teaching Professional. We will work with you, while you are playing on the golf course, teaching you club selection, shot making, strategies for shooting lower scores. We have found through years of experience, that there is no substitue for on-the-golf-course instruction.
Currently, Bill Shriver and Pat McClanan Shriver play competitive golf on the North Florida PGA section schedule of tournaments. You will be getting golf instructors that know how to play golf. Bill has played on the Nationwide Tour, 4 PGA Tour events, the Professional National Players Championship 5 times, and has an outstanding tournament record. Bill’s list of playing accomplishments is long. Pat has played jr. golf, high school golf, Futures Tour golf, and currently plays in North Florida PGA events.
In addition to teaching golf, Pat and Bill play golf. That is a combination that will work for you at our Weekend Boot Camp.
